Individual Participation in Trade Fairs

​​Description:

Reimbursement of fees associated with exporter’s individual participation in international exhibitions.

Policy - Ceiling and Coverage:

Reimbursement of 65% of fees up to a ceiling of  95,000  SAR.

Activities Covered:

  • Trade fair registration fee.
  • Product samples (include shipping cost).
  • Stand design and setup.

Terms for using the service:

  • The applicant must be a Saudi Exports registered client.
  • The date of trade fair participation shall not be before the date of approval of the application.
  • Saudi Exports must not be participating in a national pavilion within the same trade fair/exhibition.
  • Saudi Exports must not be participating in a national pavilion in the same sector and country during the fiscal year.
  • The products of the client must be Saudi-made and not banned from export, and in the event of service activities, such activities must be provided by a Saudi-based establishment.
  • The client must have completed the Export Readiness Assessment.
  • The establishment of the applicant must have completed one year or more carrying out business activities since its establishment.
  • The client's establishment must not have an activity ban.
  • The client's establishment must not be under liquidation or bankruptcy.
  • The client must not have any financial obligations to Saudi Exports Development Authority.


General Policies:

 

  • The applicant must submit documents that confirm his participation in the trade fair before his incentive payment can be processed. Examples of these documents: trade fair invoices, photos of the client’s booth, commercial registration, claim letter, etc.
  • The client must have approved application to obtain the incentive.​
  • The client must have submit the application before utilizing the service.​
  • The application must be submitted at least three months before the date of commencement of the trade fair.
  • The applicant must submit a comprehensive and accurate report on his participation in the trade fair.
  • The client must submit progress reports upon request.
  • The above disbursement requirements must be submitted within 30 days of the trade fair and no application will be considered after that period, except if the client provides a valid reason and enough budget is still available.
  • The applicant must share at least 5 photos of his booth in the trade fair that shows his products.
  • The client is entitled to cancel his application after notifying Saudi Export, in writing and not less than 5 days before the trade fair commencement. In case of failure to inform Saudi Export, the client may be denied access to some of Saudi Export’s services.
  • The client must explain the need for the incentive by presenting the anticipated outcome in his application (e.g. increase in sales (%), gained expertise in specific areas and markets, market expansion, etc.).
  • The maximum benefit limit from the Saudi Export Incentive program is 700,000 SAR during the fiscal year.

  • Getting Commercial Register full data for an Est issued in the last 6 months. Click Here
  • Quotation.
  • The person filling and submitting an application should possess a delegation letter attested by the company, power of attorney or similar document together with a copy of ID number or iqama of the person making the application.
  • Any documentation' which evidences that products are manufactured or produced in KSA.

  • Request form for reimbursement.
  • The original invoice for fees incurred.
  • Getting Commercial Register full data for an Est issued in the last 6 months. Click Here
  • 5 photos of the customer’s booth at the trade fair.
  • Deadline for submitting documents: 30 days after participating in the trade fair.
